AV FAQ
Will Cord-Tie work on XLR, DMX, and SpeakON, and snakes?
Yes. The 20″ size handles most XLR, DMX, and patch cables. The 32″ size is better for thicker power, SpeakON, snakes, and longer coils.
Is this better than hook-and-loop wraps?
For most crews, yes. Indoors or outdoors in harsh weather, Cord-Tie doesn’t collect lint, fuzz, or dirt so it doesn’t lose grip.
Will it slow us down during strike?
No. Since Cord-Tie is designed to live on your cords and gear, most crews find it faster. Zip it on all your new cords one time and it stays there forever, so you don't have to go hunting for loose wraps.
Is it safe for touring and rental gear?
Yes. Cord-Tie is flexible, abrasion-resistant, and holds up to repeated packing, unpacking, and transport.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-day, no-questions-asked return policy.
If Cord-Tie doesn’t make your life easier, just send it back within 30 days for a full refund—no forms, no hassle. We only ask that it’s returned in good condition so we can recycle or reuse it responsibly.
What if it doesn’t work for our setup?
You’re covered. Cord-Tie comes with a 30-day return policy. If it’s not right for your workflow, send it back.
Will Cord-Tie damage cable jackets or connectors over time?
No. The strap is flexible and smooth, with no sharp edges. It won’t cut into jackets or stress connectors like zip ties can.
Can I use it for more than cords?
Yes. AV crews use Cord-Tie for more than just cables. It works well for power whips, feeder tails, extension cords, air hoses, mic stands, small truss pieces, and bundled accessories in cases. If it coils or needs to stay grouped, Cord-Tie can handle it.
